　　隨著海拔的升高，空氣將越來(lái)越稀薄，空氣的密度也將越來(lái)越小。相同體積的空氣中所含O2的質(zhì)量也越來(lái)越小，直到不能滿足發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)額定負(fù)載的需要。此時(shí)發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)將降載運(yùn)行。

　　發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)的環(huán)境溫度，也不是越低越好。溫度太低，發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)不易啟動(dòng)，也影響混合器的控制。如果最低的環(huán)境溫度低于發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)要求的環(huán)境溫度，則需要設(shè)計(jì)循環(huán)空氣通道，利用機(jī)房空氣熱量加熱進(jìn)入發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)的空氣，滿足發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)運(yùn)行的溫度要求。
